16th and 17th November 2022 in Brussels (Belgium)
The three ERA-NETs SUSFOOD2, CORE ORGANIC, and FOSC jointly organised a Project Seminar on November 16th and 17th 2022. The seminar was held in a hybrid format. The venue of the physical event was in Brussels, while the participants could join online via Webex. The idea to prepare a joint event came across those networks because the mid-term stage of the 12 projects funded by the SUSFOOD2-CORE ORGANIC Joint Call 2019 coincides with the kick-off of the 5 projects funded by the SUSFOOD2-FOSC Joint Call 2021. Therefore, the organisers invited the project coordinators or their representatives and the funders for both joint calls to a joint meeting.
The main agenda point of the seminar was the presentation of the funded projects. Since the 5 projects from the 2021 Joint Call had just started in 2022, the coordinators were asked to present a pitch to explain the objectives and activities of their projects followed by a short discussion to answer questions from the participants. The projects from the SUSFOOD2-CORE Organic call presented their mid-term results via a more extended presentation followed by a joint discussion. In addition, the organizer arranged an interactive session to discuss potential future research questions with the taking part researchers.
